Applications Chemist - TOC (Mason, OH) - 7/8/08
The responsibilities of the position would be to run samples, analyze results with data and write application notes. Analyze customer samples and recommend optimal application solutions. Assist in pre-sale marketing and sales efforts into international, domestic and OEM markets. Assist sales reps with applications support.Minimum education requirement is a BS Chemistry or related Analytical Science. Experience with analytical chemical method development and validation, TOC, GC/MS, and strong analytical problem solving ability is also required. |

Field Sales Representative ( New England) - 7/8/08
The responsibilities of the Field Sales Representative include collaborating with Teledyne Tekmar Customer Service, Field Service, Marketing and Administrative personnel to strategically manage existing customers as well as penetrate new accounts. Implement and practice strategic account management. Design and implement Account Development Plans for accounts that are critical to the success of the territory. Maximize face to face time with customers through effective time and territory management. Continuously update and maintain accurate territory and account information and sales call notes in the contact management database. Analyze customer instrumentation and application needs and formulate solutions by utilizing all available resources. Aggressively prospect new customers by following planned sales strategies The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Engineering or related science. Knowledge of gas chromatography, mass spectroscopy (GC/MS), total organic carbon analysis, and purge and trap in the pharmaceutical, environmental, power, or municipal water industries. 3-5 years of successful track record in analytical instrumentation sales experience. The ability to travel up to 60%. |

Field Service Engineer (New Jersey) - 7/8/08
Responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer include: assisting our customers by providing telephone support, on-site installation, service, and application assistance; sell and support service products; serve as a technical expert. Extensive travel is required. A qualified candidate will have experience in troubleshooting and repairing of LC, IC, HPLC, GC, GPC, GC/MS; TOC, VOC Purge & Trap and Air Analysis, reading/writing technical training manuals, and writing procedures. A background in gas chromatography and electronics is desirable, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or Electronics. |
