Teledyne Tekmar introduces the Fusion Total Organic Carbon (TOC) Analyzer uniquely designed for both Water For Injection (WFI)/Purified Water and Cleaning Validation Samples - January 17, 2008
 
Mason, Ohio - Teledyne Tekmar’s Fusion TOC Analyzer is the newest addition to the UV-Persulfate TOC product line. The Fusion offers superior sensitivity by utilizing the industry’s cutting edge technology, Static Pressure Concentration (SPC) detection. By implementing the SPC technology, the Fusion is able to achieve unprecedented sensitivity from a Non-Dispersive Infrared (NDIR) detector. The Fusion is designed to offer increased productivity for cGMP quality control laboratories as a dual-function instrument that can analyze both WFI/PW and cleaning validation samples without modification or sample carry-over concerns.

Teledyne Tekmar has released a new proprietary Sorbent Trap for use in the Stratum Purge and Trap Concentrator (P&TC) - January 20, 2008
 
Mason, Ohio – Teledyne Tekmar Company, a business unit of Teledyne Instruments, has recently released the new sorbent trap.    The new #9 Trap was designed to be fully compliant with requirements of US EPA methodologies, Methods 5030 and 5035.  The unique trapping materials show improved performance for meeting the requirements of challenging compounds including Bromomethane, Chloroethane, and the increasing list of added Oxygenates, defined by Methods US EPA 8260 and 524.2. Additional benefits include better lot consistency and decreased water retention.   The #9 Trap can also be used in other Teledyne Tekmar Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) instrumentation such as the HT3 Headspace Analyzer, Velocity XPT Purge and Trap, and the Autocan 12 Whole Air Sampler.

MASON, OHIO - Teledyne Tekmar’s Fusion TOC Analyzer is the newest addition to the Dohrmann Series of UV-Persulfate TOC product line. The Fusion offers superior sensitivity by utilizing the industry’s cutting edge technology, Static Pressure Concentration (SPC) detection. By implementing the SPC technology, the Fusion is able to achieve unprecedented sensitivity from a Non-Dispersive Infrared (NDIR) detector. The Fusion is designed to offer increased productivity for environmental compliance and water purification laboratories. The Fusion has the ability to analyze a broad range of samples without modification or sample carry-over concerns. Its ease of operations and sample reporting are increasing laboratories TOC capabilities with enhanced features such as automatic calibration monitoring. Traditional analyzers use multiple calibration curves to analyze the spectrum of samples submitted for analysis. The Fusion uses a single calibration curve while still allowing a wide range of samples to be analyzed with automated calibration verification. An integrated PC with adjustable touch screen interface provides efficient use of laboratory bench space. Sample reports may be exported to user-definable formats utilizing the latest technology for electronic records and electronic signatures – including audit trials and user account management. To eliminate the need for carrier gas cylinders, Teledyne Tekmar offers an inexpensive solid state Nitrogen Generator, the Piccolo, which supplies high-purified Nitrogen from compressed house air with no electronics or moving parts.
