TOC Analysis of Concentrated HCl Samples
The concentration of organic carbon in industrial samples containing concentrated HCl can be critical to the manufacturing of chemical products. A catalytic combustion Total Organic Carbon (TOC) Analyzer provides one of the few ways of measuring TOC in concentrated HCl solutions accurately. Other methods of oxidizing carbon experience severe interference from the high level of chloride ions present in HCl solutions.
