How to Gain Reliable, Fast, Precise and Accurate TOC Results for PW, WFI, UHPW or CIP Sample Analysis
The intent of this technical note is to discuss current methods of TOC (Total Organic Carbon) analysis, including their advantages and limitations in the analysis of purified waters (PW), water for injection (WFI), ultra-high purity waters (UHPW) and of course CIP (Clean In Place) applications. For purposes of this paper, all of them are defined as “ultra-pure” water while in all of these applications the water contains less then 500 ppb (parts-per -billion) of TOC.
