 The updates for the new Velocity Firmware include:

The foam sensor reading has been updated to avoid spurious positive readings. |
|
When the firmware is in Standby or End of Method, it now turns on AA70 heater. |
|
The firmware will now automatically clear communication errors if the communication is reestablished on its own. |
|
The beeper now shuts off when an RTD error clears. |
|
Cryofocuser LN2 is turned off when system is aborted during cooldown mode. |
|
Added Shimadzu QP-2010 to predefined GC configuration list. |
|
The firmware now supports AMD flash chips. |
|
The temperature control PID parameters have been updated. |

Click the Zip File link below to download the Velocity Firmware Update |
2.) |
Unzip the file. |
3.) |
Save the file in C:\Program Files\Teledyne Tekmar\VOC TekLink Data\Firmware Updates |
4.) |
Open TekLink and flash the unit while running TekLink. |
5.) |
For more information on "flashing", go to TekLink Help, type in "Flash" and follow the links for flashing. |

| Note: Do not change Baud Rate, Parity, or Stop Bits settings unless instructed to do so by Teledyne Tekmar Customer Support. Default settings are: Baud Rate-19200, Parity-None, and Stop Bits-1. |

| Installation Instructions (firmware) |

1.) |
Right click the Download Now (Firmware) link. |
2.) |
Select "Save Target As..." |
3.) |
In the "Save As" prompt, you should see the name of the file (1-38-48 XPT.wcmain.s19) in the "File Name" text box. In the dropdown menu of "Save as type," select "All files." |
4.) |
Save the file (1-38-48 XPT.wcmain.s19) in the default directory (C:\Program Files\Teledyne Tekmar\VOC TekLink Data\Firmware Updates). |
5.) |
Open TekLink and flash the unit while running TekLink. |
6.) |
